Yes, the incredible amp builder (and once and always superb luthier) Tim Schroeder. This session was a delight. Two friends interacting on multiple layers, subtle and overt. We invited and invoked our musical histories and loves, and danced with the sounds of electricity and domesticity. The details here are the music. Stripped to the basics of tactile response and tube glow, a shadowplay of disflow and infunction squeezes through, paraphrasing Peter Kowald, a necessary tiny hole. Tim's influence on my musical development is profound, and it was great to share the spark of what makes all of his (gorgeous) work and mine possible. Thanks for listening, and know your support of this album brings necessary artistic creation into the world.
