This album was made almost 13 years ago, but never saw the light of day (for reasons I can't fully explain) until now, December 25, 2016. Perhaps it was too personal and revealing to subject to scrutiny, even if positive. I had paired complicated compositional twists with deeply spiritual drive, on a wildly difficult-to-play instrument I love called the H'arpeggione. These songs were at the time my private study pieces, created to access the furthest reaches of my imagination and technical ability. My friend Jeff Reilly graciously agreed to elevate the presentation through his melodic bombast. The rehearsals I recall being very fun and even professional, very focused. In the studio we recorded live to tape, and what you hear is what was played. This session opened the door to a close working relationship with engineer Tom Lewis; soon after, in the same place, I recorded my solo H'arpeggione version of Reign In Blood...
Thanks for listening.

One of my favorite albums ever! It beautifully captures the sound and spirit of where we live. I was honored to be the engineer for the session, and it is a highlight in my history as a record mogul. Killick
