Scott Baxendale asked me to play the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at Flicker Theatre as part of his monthly residency. I said yes immediately, and am so glad this happened. Scott built my Pink Hack guitar and I've been a fan of his music for several years. He's got an electric personality like metal shavings to a magnet, an irrepressible spark. That's how it feels to be around him, and that's how it feels to play music with him. I'm grateful for his creative presence in my life. We come from different musical worlds, but there's a common thread or two pulling out our patched sleeves. I think this is what used to be called a jam session: time suspended, night colors amplified, quiet and hubbub as one, communicating with a friend on a different sort of wavelength. What's cool is the incredible sound-patico, using divergent tools and vocabularies to achieve a uniform "group" approach. (Mostly, well, it's rock 'n' roll.) Please enjoy our first time musical meeting, like a radio broadcast from another place or places beyond, the pace a wavy static sky blanket, color the radiant moon-sun. Thanks for listening.

One of my favorite albums ever! It beautifully captures the sound and spirit of where we live. I was honored to be the engineer for the session, and it is a highlight in my history as a record mogul. Killick
