I recall these things from 17 and a half years ago: some good friends of mine got together to make music one night. It wasn't rehearsal, it wasn't practice, it just was. I think we lit some candles and hit record, never imagining this capture would time travel in the not-too-distant future.
Listening back, I can (to greater extent) suspend critique and cringe-reflex, and just appreciate that we were having a meaningful quadrologue at the edge of our experiential realm. It means the world to me.
The year 2000. Things were different. Things are the same. And this comes to you just in time. Storage media decay has a foothold, a spur to grab the moment. I am very, very grateful for this period of fathomless assimilation and growth in my life, "this period" being 2000 and 2017 and 1983 and 2034. Enjoy and thank you for listening.

One of my favorite albums ever! It beautifully captures the sound and spirit of where we live. I was honored to be the engineer for the session, and it is a highlight in my history as a record mogul. Killick
