I've had the privilege of working with many brilliantly talented artists over the years, and yet, thankfully, I have the capacity to be completely surprised at the depths of creativity still untold. One of my greatest joys is collaborating with partners who are open to all possibilities, directions, and artistic outpourings. Several recent projects have involved Monique Osorio, a singular soul of fathomless invention, and a kind presence in our musical community. This particular vehicle was designed to spotlight her original take on essentially everything orbiting the muse. I had a fantastic time constructing the instrumental component to this music...and Monique really took it to an unprecedented realm. Some of my obsessions (flexible time, nuanced pitch fluidity, and hypercoloration) are Monique's as well. And the music is necessarily responsive and topical, though not in the ways that exhaust...approaching the world's woes from a different angle is, to me, inspiring rather than draining. The music is a gift in my life, and I hope in yours, too. Please enjoy.

One of my favorite albums ever! It beautifully captures the sound and spirit of where we live. I was honored to be the engineer for the session, and it is a highlight in my history as a record mogul. Killick
