about

I really love this underheard gem. It was in December of 2001, just a blink away from today. I'm pleased to present this with a fresh coat of sonic gleam. There's lots of understated interaction...it remains one of the most colorful ensembles I've been involved with. I hear in my own playing a fascination with repetition and variation, and an emerging confidence in the uncountable rhythmic subdivisions which are a huge part of my presentation now. And in my colleagues so much openness to the moment. My thanks to all who made this happen, and thanks to you for listening.
