Nick Vander is a guitarist with the honed ability to find and celebrate exactly what advances the music in each moment. I am honored to work with him here. While this is ostensibly an improvisational duet, Nick had the more difficult task. I recorded my parts first and then he played to them. After repeated listens, the results sound like an in-person meeting. Spontaneity and repartee are on full display. I sincerely look forward to a real-time (together!) performance as soon as possible. I hope the brightness of the sun as our common pivot point brings some joy in these difficult times. Thanks as always for listening and be well.
