As soon as we leaped into this session it was clear we were creating a chamber opera. No theatre, no lavish sets, yet a suspension of time and space as the music ascended effortlessly into beauty and discovery. My good friend and musical conjurer Monique Osorio opens up in multi-directional ways with transcendent delivery. For my part, the concept was to excite the strings in every way I could, including new bowing techniques. This might be my favorite musical project of 2019...I'm honored to share it with you.
