This is a meditation on modes of travel, some more obscure or difficult than others. Typically Sahada and I will just start playing without any set parameters, but we made an exception here while taking turns announcing the transportation inspiration for the next piece. In the broader view I think everyone is itching for a change of scenery, as I would be itching riding a horse...allergies. Having this session with my dear friend and exquisite violinist Sahada was an unexpected joy, a teleportation through resonating strings, fizzing devices, and lush reverberant imaginings. I hope this finds you well. Thank you as always for listening.
