The ever-expanding circle is welcoming to new energy in our friends Kathryn Koopman & Chris Tidwell, two brilliantly intuitive players who really dive into the flow. This iteration of Thunder O(h)m! is, to my ears, the most orchestral...that being through the balloon release of melodic seagrass soaring high and Calder-spinning successive atmospheres of spontaneous trust and invention. And John & Brad are surprising, nuanced, invigorated, something I love every time. A wonderful Saturday night with friends and family in the spirit of collaborative discovery...I've included the question & answer session at the end of the concert, a vital part of the evening. Please enjoy and thanks as always for listening.
