The non-linear aspect of the passage of time is fascinating to me...the ebb and flow of fluidity, shadow and light of experience. In a certain recounting, this recording is around the moment (when I was 32) things coalesced into one my shadow and soul (thanks, Slayer for the vocabulary/philosophy lesson). *Things* were things artistic, spiritual, and the height of my dexterity up to that point. My cover of Reign In Blood was released just a few weeks prior, having actually been recorded in August 2004; understand, post-production and distribution then progressed on a geological scale. :-) There's some if not more than the intensity of RIB in this performance, but I hear my own idiosyncratic Appalachian Trance Metal (for lack of a better descriptor) ascendant. I love this music and this era in my history. It's an anchor to everything I've done since, or before, really. Oh, on a technical level, it was solo H'arpeggione plugged into a tiny little ZVex Nano Head amp, nice and fuzzy. Winston Parker, my host for the day, created a comfortable atmosphere for me to do my best, and his mic placement in front of the speaker cabinet and recording is superb. A good day. Please enjoy and thanks for listening.

One of my favorite albums ever! It beautifully captures the sound and spirit of where we live. I was honored to be the engineer for the session, and it is a highlight in my history as a record mogul. Killick
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
